High-speed, high-accuracy 3- and 4-axis CNC milling is a core competency at CCG. Our fleet consists of more than two dozen late-model machining centers. Our experienced manufacturing engineers create CNC programs with Esprit CAM software.
Working directly with CAD models allows us to eliminate the need for engineering drawings, although we regularly work with a conventional build-to-print approach. Our DNC network feeds data from our engineering department directly to our machine controls. Digital cutting tool pre-setting combined with LEAN shop floor practices streamlines the machine set-up process and keeps our spindles turning 6 days a week for two shifts. On the shop floor, a team of highly trained machinist and inspectors constantly enforce our requirement for quality by utilizing CCG’s ISO 9001:2015/13485:2016 certified systems.
Additionally, CCG has a group of dedicated CNC machining centers and technicians used exclusively for quick-turn CAD-to-prototype services.
